Thank you for your interest in Wynterblue Publishing. These guidelines are provided to assist you in the preparation and submission of manuscripts for publication consideration.

If you have written a manuscript and would like to submit it to Wynterblue, please adhere to these guidelines. Please query us first by using the
Contact Us link. Include a brief description of your story including the word count and genre of the manuscript. Wynterblue Publishing authors are fully involved in the publication process until typesetting, as well as with the marketing of the book.

Submitting a Query to Wynterblue
1. Do not send us your manuscript as an attachment unless we specifically request it. We will not open attachments. We prefer email queries. Email queries will be answered within one week of receipt. Please use the form on the Contact Us page to send your query.

Please tell us about you:
What uniquely qualifies you to write on your subject?
What would you like to accomplish by having this material published?
What experience do you have writing other books or materials?
Sales history?
What kind of book promotions are you ready to undertake?

3. Tell us about your manuscript:
Who is the primary audience for your material? Secondary?
In what ways will your material be helpful to the audiences you identified?
Comparing your manuscript to other published books, how and why is your idea different and better?
What kind of promotions do you think will be particularly effective for you and your book?

Please remember that while we review many manuscripts, we only have so much time in one day. Manuscripts will be dealt with on a first come basis. We recognize that from an author's point of view, this process may seem unfair, but we promise that we will give all submissions appropriate consideration. Please do not call or email us to request the status of your manuscript. We regret that this process can be very slow, but review of manuscripts can only be done time permitting.

A hard copy of all proposals must be mailed to the address below AFTER they are requested by the editor in response to a query.

Send all hard copy submissions to:

Wynterblue Publishing
128 Rivers Road East
Unit # 22
Callander ON

Canada

What we will do after receiving your query:

Step 1: We will ask for a hard copy of your manuscript and read it carefully. We will work closely with you to make that manuscript saleable which means, bluntly, that you must not assume that your words are written in gold and cannot be changed or re-written.

Step 2: If the manuscript has completed the requirements involved with Step 1, we will write or call with comments and questions that may allow us to go to the next step: a limited contract.

Step 3: If projected sales from the limited contract are reached it will be renewed on a continual basis depending on sales and market conditions.
